Said ibn Zayd : ウィキペディア英語版
Sa'eed bin Zaid

Sa'īd bin Zayd, (Arabic: سعيد بن زيد), was one of the ''Ṣaḥābah'' ((アラビア語:الصحابة) "companions"), the companions of Muhammad. He is also nicknamed "Abu-al-Aawar". He was born in AD 593–4 and was an early convert to Islam 〔see Sai'd ibn Zaid in ''Dictionary of Islam'' by T.P. Hughes, 1885/1999, New Delhi, page 555.〕 "Said (Saīd) was not yet twenty when he embraced Islâm." that was before 613.〔http://www.sunnahonline.com/ilm/seerah/0019.htm〕 His young and steadfast wife Fatimah, daughter of al-Khattab and sister of Umar, also accepted Islâm early. He was from the one of The Ten Promised Paradise. He died in 673.
== Family ==

*Sa'īd bin Zayd was the son of Zayd bin Amr bin Nufayl.
*Khattab bin Nufayl was the father of Umar bin al-Khattab, the second Sunni Caliph.
*Before Islam, Sa'īd's father, Zayd bin Amr bin Nufayl was a hanif, a follower of the monotheistic tradition of Abraham, and hence never worshipped idols nor ate meat slaughtered in the name of idols. The Quraysh harassed him for this, and his uncle Khattab bin Nufayl became one of his main tormentors.
He was a great man and is also the one of the best role models in Islam.
*Sa'īd eventually married Fatimah bint al-Khattab, and both became Muslims and hid their faith from Umar, the wife's brother, until the wife managed to contribute to Umar becoming a Muslim as well.
